Proud Camden Video now up.

We are proud to announce that the footage of us playing Emergency at Proud Camden is now up on the YouTube. Check it out! We are particularly fond of "Drum Cam". Let us know what you think. More videos on the way with any luck. Big thanks go out to Vladislav Jakovlev and Sergey Valmon who shot and edited the whole thing.

To free or not to free.

So, here is a great article that you should read. At some point we are going to have to make a principled decision, people. Otherwise it's curtains.

Press coverage (belated update)

Well this happened some time ago but its only right to mention it.

In May we got our first proper press attention. Unless you count a 1 line aside in Shellsuit Zombie magazine. This came in the form of an article by Jameela Oberman for Disorder magazine, check it out here http://disordermagazine.com/years-years/music/ . Hopefully some more of this to come.

Screen Prints ready.

Lots of Y&Y posters

The first proper run of Years & Years screen prints is now printed. They were made at http://www.eastlondonprintmakers.co.uk/ and will be available to buy at gigs and perhaps even on-line if we work out how to do it. The run however is limited to just 20 prints so they are likely to go quickly.

Johann Hari Podcast : The music

Well its been quite some time since the last post (Our first ever gig / blog post) so I thought I'd start filling in some gaps. Ill be brief mind as I realise how little I enjoy typing.

We have recently had a bit of a spike in facebook fans and this can be mainly attributed to having our music on Johann's podcast. A clip of "I wish I knew" has been the theme tune for a while and for a pod on the recent protests our track "Emergency" was used to sign off. Here is said track. Emergency by Years and Years
Ill most likely rewrite this post but Im to tired to make it any good right now....
Till next time,

Noel (of Y&Y)

The first gig saw the Years & Years crew boarding the
Albatross in Wells-Next-the-Sea.

Their sonic voyage took them from them from the hither to thither.

Fun was had by all.
